BLEF skozi izraz dveh gibajočih se entitet preizprašuje podobe teles posameznikov v družbi, ki se spreminjajo v tržno blago in tako postajajo središče spektakla, preko katerega taisti trg sam sebe ves čas ohranja v konstantnem pogonu zasledovanja nečesa boljšega, lepšega in – spektakularnejšega.
Za izhodišče svoje raziskave plesni duet pri tem uporabi področje mode. Ta s svojim ambivalentnim odnosom do človeškega telesa povedno ponazori kompleksno dinamiko, ki nastane med okolico in posameznikom, ko se ta pod žarometi spektakla iz subjekta prelevi v objekt, meje med svobodo in ujetostjo na eni ter povezanostjo in odtujenostjo na drugi strani pa se zabrišejo in začnejo slediti nekemu povsem svojeglavemu kompasu. Telo tako v kontekstu predstave nastopi kot nosilec preštevilnih informacij in norm, ki so nanj dan za dnem projicirane od zunaj, pri čemer pa se te projekcije v paradoksalnem preobratu na vso moč trudijo doseči ravno ideal neokrnjenega bistva znotraj tega telesa, ki ga s svojimi zahtevami tako neumorno klesajo in limitirajo po svoji meri.
Kje ima v tem začaranem krogu, kjer sta banalno in sakralno dve plati iste medalje, svoje mesto človek? Ali bolje rečeno, če ga je res mogoče reducirati na le še en produkt v spektaklu našega časa, kakšna je njegova cena?

Through the expression of two moving entities, BLUFF interrogates the images/perceptions of the individual bodies in society. Bodies which turn into market goods and thus become the centre of the spectacle. A spectacle, through which the same market keeps itself in a constant drive of pursuing something better, more beautiful and – more spectacular.
As a starting point for the research, the dance duo uses the field of fashion, which with its ambivalent attitude towards the human body verbally illustrates the complex dynamics that arise between the environment and the individual. An individual, a subject who under the spotlight slowly but surely turns into an object, trapped amidst the blurry boundaries between freedom and entrapment, connectedness and alienation. In the context of the performance, the body thus acts as the bearer of countless pieces of information, projected onto it from the outside world; however, in a paradoxical twist, the main goal of these projections is to reach the ideal of that same body’s inner unspoiled essence, the very body they so relentlessly limit and mould in order to get it to fit to their standards.
In this vicious cycle that knows no difference between the banal and the sacred, where does one find the space to be human? Or, to put it differently – if it really is possible to reduce a human being to a mere product in the spectacle of these times, then what is the cost of it?
