Skupna produkcija mreže Dance Explorations Beyond Front@, nastale v sodelovanju koreografov in plesalcev iz Avstrije, Madžarske, Hrvaške in Slovenije

Projekt Dance Explorations Beyond Front@ – Beyond Front@ plesno raziskovanje s spodbujanjem podpira produkcijo in predstavitev sodobnega plesa za umetnike in občinstvo na obmejnih področjih severnovzhodne Slovenije, jugovzhodne Avstrije, zahodne Madžarske in severnovzhodne Hrvaške. Šest glavnih sodelujočih organizatorjev, Flota (Murska Sobota, SLO), Dance Week Festival (Zagreb, HR), Pro Progressione (Budimpešta, HU), Dance Identity/D.ID (Pinkafeld, AT), OHO (Oberwart, AT) in Flota (Ljubljana, SLO), združuje strokovnost in izkušnje z lokalnimi in mednarodnimi umetniki ter občinstvi, da bi ustvarili novi skupni podvig v sodobnem plesu. Organizatorji projekta Dance Explorations Beyond Front@ (Beyond Front@ plesno raziskovanje) so izkušeni umetniki, producenti in kulturni vodje s številnimi izkušnjami pri pomembnih projektih na področju sodobnih umetnosti in z dobrim poznavanjem medkulturnih okvirov.

Ustvarjalni proces CREATION Beyond Front@ je letos potekal v Budimpešti, soustvarjala pa ga je mednarodna zasedba štirih koreografov in štirih plesalcev, ki so tokratno premiero navdihe iskali pod skupnim tematskim motivom monstertamer - krotilec pošasti.

Neustrašni niso ukrotljivi. Maja Delak (SLO) 

Kapljice krvi. Nekrofili. Kričeči duhovi. Grozljivke iz 70. let v katerih je strah izražen skozi komično pretiravanje in v katerih je izvor strahov v nasprotovanju z našimi reakcijami nanje. Česa se pravzaprav bojimo? Kako obvladujemo naše strahove? Vseeno, če naši strahovi vznikajo skozi abstraktne ali konkretne občutke, vedno obstaja nevarnost, da nas ti strahovi na koncu zavzamejo.  Stephanie Cumming (A)

Poleg gestualnih znakov predstava prikazuje njeno lastno zanko, ki obenem postaja referenca k  modrosti in začenja delovati po principu avtointeligence. Navzočnost, upajmo, nastane zaradi relativno pravilnega polja interpretacije, ki je rezultat splošne senzorične recepcije in produkt nadomešča z bolj intelektualnim prostorom razlage.

Sočasno, s skladno ironijo, koščki raziskujejo sami sebe skozi fiksirano ureditev »sodobne umetnosti«; proizvajajo ustvarjanje procesa, ki na skupno stran postavlja bit, norme, kanonizirano tradicijo in umetnike, ki naj bi živeli v brezmejni svobodi, prostor gledališča torej kot »cerkve Umetnosti«. The Project Dance Explorations Beyond Front@ - Beyond Front@ Dance Exploration supports by stimulation the production and presentation of contemporary dance for artists and public in frontier regions of the North-East Slovenia, South-West Austria, West Hungary and North-East Croatia. The six main cooperating organizers, Flota (Murska Sobota, SLO), Dance Week Festival (Zagreb, HR), Pro Progressione (Budapest, HU), Dance Identity/D.ID (Pinkafeld, AT), OHO (Oberwart, AT) and Flota (Ljubljana, SLO), bring together their expertise and experience with those of the local and international artists and publics in order to create a new joint exploit in the contemporary dance. The organisers of the project Dance Explorations Beyond Front@ (Beyond Front@ Dance Exploration) are experienced artists, producers and cultural leaders with rich experience in important projects of contemporary art and the knowledge of intercultural contexts.

This year, the project CREATION Beyond Front@ took place in Budapest and was co-created by an international team of four choreographers and four dancers, who were inspired by theme motive monstertamer.

Stuff of 70's horror films where the expression of fear shows itself through comedic hyperbole andwhere the things which terrify us no longer stand in relation to our reactions to them. What are we actually afraid of and how do we tame those fears? Whether our dread stems from an abstract force or a concrete feeling, there's always the lingering danger that our fears will consume us in the end.

By the gestures of indexing the performance (the project) also reflects his own pursuit, just as becomes his own reference, to wit, starts to work on an “auto-intelligent” way.  Hereby, hopefully, emerges from a relative narrow field of interpretation that is the result of a conventional sensory reception, and replaces the production into a more intellectual space of explanation. At the same time, with an adequate irony, the piece searches himself, the immovable regulations of the „Contemporary Art”, the manufactured creating process, that puts cogitation on one side, the norms, the canonized traditions, the artists, who suppose themselves to live in a limitless freedom, the theatres as the „Churches of Art” – all those, that are surrounding himself (ourselves).
