DCL je eden izmed osrednjih dogodkov v okviru programa Bridging New Territories mednarodne plesne mreže Beyond Front@.

Zasnovan je bil, da bi povezoval plesalce, koreografe in druge umetnike, ki prihajajo iz različnih evropskih držav. Gre za improvizacijski dogodek, ki omogoča spontano preizkušanje sodelovanja v različnih okoliščinah.

Dogodek, ki je bil najprej del festivala Front@, je bil večkrat predstavljen tudi v Londonu, Budimpešti, Zagrebu, Oberwartu, Pinkafeldu in je postal stalnica pri vključevanju novih plesalcev in koreografov v umetniške produkcije mreže Beyond Front@.

V vsakem kraju je tema improvizacije drugačna. Tokrat bo britanski koreograf Robert Clark skupino plesalcev iz Velike Britanije, Avstrije, Madžarske, Hrvaške in Slovenije vodil skozi improvizacijske podvige, ki jih bodo plesalci preizkušali tudi na mestnih ulicah.

DCL is one of the central events of the Bridging New Territories programme organised by the international Beyond Front@ Network. DCL’s aim is to establish connections between dancers, choreographers and other artists from different European countries. The event is of an improvisational nature and focuses on spontaneous collaboration in different circumstances. At first taking place at the Front@ Festival, DCL events were organised also in London, Budapest, Zagreb, Oberwart and Pinkafeld. DCL has thus become a regular and important element for including new dancers and choreographers in art productions of the Beyond Front@ Network.

In each location a new theme is set for the improvisation. This year the group of dancers from Great Britain, Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia, who will improvise also in the streets of Murska Sobota, will be led by the British choreographer Robert Clark.
