Izhodiščna ideja predstave V iskanju mirovanja je bila raziskava performansa improvizacije skozi serijo
rezidenc plesalca in koreografa Jurija Konjarja z
različnimi sodelavci. Tema raziskave je bil tisti prostor prispetja, v katerem potreba po spremembi zastane in
se vzpostavi prostor »mirovanja«. Avtor ob tem zapiše: »Skupaj s sodelavci smo opazovali dvojnost vlog akterjev, ki so
v raziskovalnem procesu drug za drugega hkrati performerji in gledalci, ter mehanizme približevanja tega procesa občinstvu,
ki mu prisostvuje prvič.« V sodelovanju z dolgoletnim prijateljem, kolegom in sodelavcem Martinom Kilvadyjem je proces dozorel do te mere, da gledalcu hkrati omogoča, da zaobjame celoto nastalega, kot tudi ponuja vpogled v dialog med procesom nastanjanja.

Artist talk with Jurij Konjar & Martin Kilvady
The starting idea for Still was to research the performance of improvisation through a series of Jurij Konjar’s residencies with different collaborators. The subject of the research was that place of arrival, where the need for change vanishes and a place of “stillness” is established. In the author’s words: “With collaborators we observed the dual role of protagonists, who are for each other simultaneously performers and spectators as well as the mechanisms of bringing this process closer to the audience who is witnessing it for the first time.” In collaboration with the long-time friend and colleague Martin Kilvady the process grew further, to
the point of allowing for the spectator to embrace the proposal as a whole while offering an insight into the dialogue taking place during the process of creation.
