The Elsewhen Series (UK)
In a series of five duets, two British dancers and choreographers embody their values and artistic perspec-tives as well as explore their expression through diverse, pre-existing and purpose-made spaces, in which they also try to discover the potentials of spontaneity and ongoing inspiration. They re-question their productivity, their physical resistance, thus reaching for the images of dreamy landscapes. Most of the time closely surrounded by the audience, they create instant dance compositions for a duet, thus intertwining the rhythm of thought and heart, and also striving to create - through duration and repetition -, the effect of feeling that the body is not forced to be (only) here, for it can always be elsewhen.
