#ASIFILOOKEDLIKEME presents a web of the real and the virtual. More than a million selfies are posted every day around the world and, although it is undoubtedly a narcissistic obsession, it also unveils the need for social contact, acceptance, and above all, the desire to be loved and liked. The performer co-exists with her images, which she has created – knowingly or unknowingly. Her identity persistently slips between the virtual and the real, settling into their thin intermediate line, where it is eventually impossible to determine her »true self«.
