About Empty Spaces (SI)
About Empty Spaces is about exploring the body as space, in which we live. It is an attempt to explore the (non)-limitation of the entity to space and an attempt to make sense of oneself as 'something' that exists and functions within the body, but also independently of it; within the society, but also regardless of it. It is a tendency to negate the labelling and give meaning to the actions, according to the principle of good-bad, and a process of reducing stimuli from the environment and finding comfort in the lack of them. The dance solo defines its space in a void, surrounded by the audience, where it begins its process of searching over and over again.

Blue Ink (SI) – video
The work Blue Ink opens up questions of boundaries and the absurdity of bureaucracy that traps man into an interspace of waiting. It is a reflection of the current personal and political imbalance. And the state of in-experience, un-worthiness, fear, loneliness, fragility, trust and power. At the actual level, the work addresses the topic of boundaries, both spatial and physical, as well as personal. It focuses on bureaucratic complications, bending the rules of a person's present.

Walls (SI) – film/video
The film was made during the Choreographic and Video Laboratory at Vibra 2020. Walls has been filmed in special circumstances. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, dance co-creators were forced to cease their pro-cesses or to perform them remotely. Therefore, the film has also been created remotely. Both as a last resort in the current situation, as well as a rather unique artistic experiment. Artists in the field of dance – a medium that is perhaps the most ephemeral art form, linked to direct contact with the audience, daily physical exercise and creative work with co-creators –, are forced to find different ways of working.
LAB has been created as part of Vibra – the 8th International Workshops and Festival of Contemporary Dance -, held via online video conferences due to this year's unexpected circumstances.
Nine selected young dance artists from all over the world have been creating during this laboratory their choreographic materials under the direction of Spanish choreographer Eulalia Ayguadé Farro. The starting point for creation was the reflection on the state of forced physical confinement. During the "laboratory" young choreographers will identify new possible realities, physical pathways, and states body experiences, as it copes with social and spatial constraints. The dancers will then shape them into their solo choreogra-phies.

This sincere and satirical project at the same time reflects how we deal with postponing and denying the inevitable. The minimalist solo performance consists of a series of embodied emotions that illustrate the approach to the ultimate end. For many, postponing the thought of death is something quite ordinary; therefore even small actions make them feel alive. In a mechanical movement, the dancer's body approaches the images of decay and weakness, and above all collides with the burden of cognition and the key question: will we achieve everything that we set out to do?

Can’t Kill Us All (UK) – video
The short video Can't Kill us … unravels human's unrest, while navigating in the turbulence and tackling two global pandemics. This genuine theatrical experience combines hip hop and Botis Seva's dance experiments, revealing emotional and rational disorientation in the face of life in quarantine/self-isolation. Memories of childhood, but also current traumas lead to a breakthrough through the darkness to find light, humility and peace.

To the Side and Around (De-Set) (SI)
Five, Six, Seven, Eight. We drew inspiration from the last number of the dancer's daily routine. The number 8 is a symbol of harmony and balance. The mathematical symbol for infinity resembles the number 8, only turned to the side. While in the first of our duets we explore movement without losing hand contact, in the second part we are rather focused on the number's meaning. The number 8 represents the balance between the material and the immaterial world. It is the atomic number for oxygen. Spiders have eight legs. Octopus has eight arms. There are eight planets in our solar system. It takes eight minutes for sunlight to reach the Earth. It is a choreographic duet, interested in man's intimate and social essence. It tackles the archetypal questions of the relationship between her and him, as well as the energy that fuels this relationship between ourselves and the world we live in.
