Predstavitev nagrajenih plesnih miniatur z 21. mednarodnega tekmovanja mladih plesnih ustvarjalcev/Presentation of short dance pieces awarded at the 21st International Competition of Young Dance Performers

Tekmovanje mladih plesnih ustvarjalcev OPUS 1 − plesna miniatura v organizaciji Javnega sklada RS za kulturne dejavnosti (JSKD) vsako leto poteka v Slovenskem ljudskem gledališču v Celju. Ta edinstvena prireditev pri nas spodbuja plesno ustvarjalnost, odkriva mlade talente, gledalce pa z izbranimi stvaritvami navdušuje z neposrednostjo in bogastvom plesnih izpovedi.

Vsako leto so razpisane drugačne teme. Letošnja tema z naslovom Vsi marš na ples sledi aktualnim družbenim dogajanjem ter povezuje ples in upor.

Competition of young dance performers OPUS 1 – short dance piece, organised by the Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia, is held annually in Slovene People’s Theatre (SLG) Celje. This unique event stimulates dance creativity and discovers young talents, while mature and sincere creations of young dancers fascinate the viewers with their simplicity and the richness of dance expressions.

Every year a different theme is set for the competition. This year's theme follows topical events in the wider society, connecting dance and resistance under the common title “Everybody, March Out and Dance”.
