Krizstian Gergye je madžarski plesalec, koreograf in umetniški vodja zavoda Company of Krisztián Gergye (Not Just Dance).

Krizstian Gergye is a Hungarian dancer, choreographer and art director of the Company of Krisztián Gergye (Not Just Dance). His movement expression offers genuine forms of dance language and is a mixture of tradition and contemporary tendencies, characterizing his performances by their incessant interaction. He started his artistic career by learning the Java dance. In 1998, he mastered the skills of traditional and archaic dances when staying on the Java island as a student of Darmasiswa for a year. In the performance E.SCH.EROTO, the performer is subject to incessant change of identity, character attitudes and visual images. Through constant improvisation with costumes, colours and face masques, he is making surprising leaps from one character to another and back again, thereby activating a strong atmosphere of Indonesian tradition which is at the same time mysterious, inspirational, thrilling and enigmatic.
