Posvetitev pomladi (Posvećenje proljeća) je zgodba o plesu in ples do konca zgodbe. Kakšen je ritual plodnosti danes? Kašen pomen ima tak ritual v urbanem okolju? Je to danes ritual začetka in vnovičnega rojstva ali urbani ritual smrti? S temi vprašanji se soočamo ob velikem glasbenem delu Igorja Stravinskega, ki v nas budi odseve davnih obredij, zapisanih v naših genih. Odseve na steklu, betonu in kovini.
Studio za sodobni ples (Studio za suvremeni ples – SSP) je bil prva skupina za sodobni ples na Hrvaškem, ki je sta jo leta 1962 ustanovili hrvaški pionirki sodobnega plesa Ana in Vera Maletić.
Delo SSP sloni na tradiciji sodobnega plesnega izraza v povezavi z novimi kulturnimi trendi, ki se prilagajajo zahtevam umetniške in kulturne komunikacije. Poleg domačih koreografov, delujočih na hrvaškem plesnem prizorišču, je SSP sodeloval s koreografi in pedagogi iz Francije, Velike Britanije, Združenih držav Amerike, Španije, Nizozemske idr.
The Rite of Spring is a story about the dance and remains so till the end. What would replace the rite of fertility today? What sort of meaning would it have in today’s urban environment? Is today’s rite the beginning and new rebirth of the urban rite or its death? With these questions we approach the great musical work of Igor Stravinsky and awaken the reflections on the ancient rites written in our genes. Reflections in glass, concrete and metal.
The Studio Contemporary Dance Company (SCDC) was the first contemporary dance group in Croatia, and was founded in 1962 in Zagreb by the local pioneers of modern dance Ana and Vera Maletić.
SCDC‘s work is based on the tradition of contemporary dance expression while embracing new cultural trends and adjusting to requirements of the artistic and cultural communication. In addition to national choreographers, active on the Croatian dance scene, the Company has collaborated with choreographers and pedagogues from France, Great Britain, United States, Spain, Slovenia, the Netherlands etc.
