Oups Dance Company (FR): ADSURBE 11’

Choreography, performance: Emilie Joneau, Clémence Juglet
Costume design: Clarisse Brillouët
Composer: Robin Betelu a.k.a LEON AFTERBEAT

Adsurbe is a physical and visceral exploration of burnout in a world that constantly demands more. Through sharp, pulsating movements and moments of rupture, the piece follows a body pushed to the edge – a dancer oscillating between control and collapse, acceleration and exhaustion. The choreography reveals the invisible weight of performance, productivity, and societal expectations that slowly erode one’s sense of self.

The two performers search for ways of drawing closer to one another through the idea of magnetic attraction, creating a dynamic between attraction and repulsion. Throughout the duet, they embark on a shared journey, inviting the audience to recognize something of their own relationships in the encounter.

There are countless ways of drawing close to another person. Sometimes it comes easily; at other times it requires greater effort. We may remain apart or draw close, leave space or fill it. At times, the connection resembles a magnetic force, like two magnets that attract and repel each other. They come together and strengthen one another, drift apart and reunite, connect and let go – each encounter carrying a stronger charge than the last.

Oktawia Scibior & Samory Ba - Slippery Art Project (FR): ENTAGLEMENT 12’

Choreography, interpretation: Oktawia Ścibior, Samory Ba Music: Emptyset, Nyx, Liam Morrissey Dramaturgy: Lou Cope Artistic advisors: Rafaële Giovanola & Rainald Endrass Costumes: Oktawia Ścibior Lighting design (indoor version): Fabrice Sarcy
Entanglement is a choreographic duet developed through radical experimentation with inline skates.

In this work, the unique mechanics of gliding, harnessed by the performers’ precise technique (former competitive figure skaters) and their contemporary artistic approach, serve as the foundation for a hybrid dance that disrupts the familiar. Inspired by the concept of quantum entanglement, the piece reflects on mutual influence and interdependence, as well as a drive toward connection and sharing. At the same time, it is a vision of the complexification and evolution of a simple system of two entities which, through a series of different interactions and by leaving each other some traces of their own qualities, becomes an increasingly intricate and deeply intertwined whole.

Anna Pesetti – Collettivo Dieci (IT): KONPIRA FUNE FUNE 20’

Choreography: Anna Pesetti
Dancers: Giacomo Di Rienzo, Riccardo Zoppi
Production: Anghiari Dance Hub
With the support of: CollettivoDieci, Piacenza Kultur Dom APS, Teatro Trieste 34, Emilbanca Piacenza, Ostello del Teatro

Konpira Fune Fune is a game for adults. A work that explores the relationship between two male bodies, where structure becomes a means to cross distances, contacts, and possibilities. Through the shared action, a more intimate dimension also emerges, made of vulnerability and complicity. It is not “play” as a simple challenge, but as an emotional space where strength, dynamics, tension, and attunement meet: a physical language that becomes a process of mutual discovery.
